JOB DESCRIPTION:
Palm Tran, Inc. is looking for a Grants and Capital Analyst; this is a highly responsible, professional position involving grants and capital project financial analyses; performing routine to complex grants and capital project accounting work. An employee in a position allocated to this class will be responsible for monitoring, reconciling, reporting and analyzing financial data related to grants and capital projects; this is accomplished by developing standardized procedures for internal capital and grants related functions. Duties also include collaborating with project managers, division and section leaders, and finance staff to resolve any grant, project, or budget discrepancies or issues. Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures. Performance is reviewed by an administrative supervisor through conferences, reports and observation of results achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in governmental accounting procedures and governmental financial analysis, plus two (2) years of professional experience in grants; advanced Microsoft Excel skills and CGI Advantage and Crystal Reporting experience required. EQUIVALENCY: Unrelated Bachelor’s Degree and Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in governmental accounting procedures and governmental financial analysis, plus four (4) years of professional experience in grants; advanced Microsoft Excel skills and CGI Advantage and Crystal Reporting experience required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Palm Tran is searching for an experienced Information Technology (IT) Manager who can successfully manage our extensive inventory of technology resources. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the principles of both information and technology management, and considerable knowledge in the methods of project management. The IT Manager will be responsible for developing system (software, hardware, network) maintenance and growth plans, creating annual and project budgets, administering vendor contracts, effectively managing the IT staff and keeping the executive team up-to-date on the technologies that will help the organization succeed. Work requires independent judgment and initiative and is performed under the direct supervision of the Director of Support Services, through conferences, periodic reports and evaluation of results achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field; five (5) years of verifiable information technology program management work experience, which must include three (3) years of supervisory experience in managing professional technical employees. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License at the time of appointment. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Palm Tran, is seeking Professional Bus Operators, with excellent customer service and communication skills. This position is responsible for performing skilled work operating all public transit vehicles on all scheduled routes and special service throughout Palm Beach County. Work involves operating diesel powered passenger buses over prescribed routes within set areas and maintaining records and logs as may be required along with accurate passenger counts. Position incumbents have the responsibility for the safety of their passengers and the vehicle operated as well as for completing the assigned route with the set time schedule. Employees in this position provide general information as requested. Schedules and days off are bid in seniority.

QUALIFICATIONS:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Palm Tran is searching for a well-rounded and detail oriented procurement manager with outstanding organizational skills to plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities and operations of all procurement and materials management for the department including contract administration, warehousing/stores, inventory control and purchasing. An employee allocated to this position in this class is responsible for the development and maintenance of Palm Tran standards, guidelines, and procedures for the procurement of supplies, equipment, construction, and services; and conducts the purchasing activities of the company and exercises contractual management of third party agreements and projects. The employee is also responsible for ensuring the achievement of contract administration and contract compliance in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and County guidelines. Work involves review of documents to ensure compliance with legal guidelines, contracting principles and cost effective constraints. Work also involves the coordination of activities with other departments and government agencies to ensure timely and accurate contract preparation and problem resolution. Work includes the establishment of comprehensive guidelines, policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration/Management, Public Administration or one of the Physical or Natural Sciences, or major course work in Law and six (6) years of experience in contract management and procurement; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience sufficient to carry out the duties of the position. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Palm Tran, Inc. is a Palm Beach County’s public transportation system that has an immediate need for a Senior Server Administrator to join its Information Technology section. The Senior Server Administrator will report directly to the IT Manager and will have full access to the server’s operating system, programs and recovery system utilities. The employee will be responsible for maintaining existing PHP scripted web applications, analyzing and recommending server system software configurations for any/all existing server platforms, planning, implementing, managing and operating support for all servers. Independent judgment is necessary to accomplish tasks and high degree of coordination is maintained with analysts, operations personnel, vendors and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics or closely related field; one (1) year of experience with PHP scripted web applications; four (4) years of experience in server administration; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.

PREFERENCES:
Two (2) years of experience with PHP scripting, MySQL, PHP Admin, VMware, HP 3 PAR Storage Systems and Windows Server 2012, 2016.
