|Hours:||Scheduled work days and 19 hours per week for approximately a one-year duration|
|Other:||To be considered for this position, you must be currently enrolled in a state licensed college or university, be at least 18 years of age, and must demonstrate student status for the duration of the appointment.

Documentation MUST consist of one of the following: • Copy of paid class registration for current 90 days • Copy of student identification card with photo and date covering last 90 days • Copy of grades from last 90 days. Palm Tran’s Public Relations Department has an exciting opportunity available for a Student Intern. Work involves active participation in multiple marketing and communication campaigns to maximize departmental program efforts, which includes various special projects/events and assisting with the implementation of public outreach programs that Palm Tran offers. Work may include assisting with the design of brochures, posters, advertisements and signs in line with Palm Tran's mission. In addition, work may involve writing and editing a variety of publications, reports or newsletters. Must be highly organized, motivated and possess strong attention-to-detail skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification (GED). Must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or related field. Basic computer knowledge
Knowledge of writing, editing and graphic design experience.
